How we set you up, and answers to the questions lenders ask us most.
From first conversation to your first disbursement, in four steps.
Request a demo and we’ll walk through Slice using your own loan packages, branches and approval process.
The Slice team sets up your private workspace at its own address, e.g. yourcompany.slicebyues.com.
Your administrator finishes the setup in Slice, and we’re on hand to help.
Onboard your first clients and run a loan end to end, from booking to repayment.
Microfinance banks, MFIs and cooperatives that lend to individuals and small businesses – from a single branch to many.
Your workspace is created as soon as we’ve agreed to work together. How quickly you go live depends mostly on how many products, branches and staff you configure; we help you through it.
A self-service import isn’t built into Slice yet. Talk to us about the records you have, and we’ll agree the best way to move them.
No. Slice runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones. There’s nothing to install or maintain.
At your organisation’s own address, e.g. yourcompany.slicebyues.com. Staff of one organisation can only sign in at that organisation’s address.
Locks lift by themselves after 15 minutes. The officer can also unlock straight away from the sign-in page with a code emailed to them – no administrator needed, from any device.
Yes. Staff and logins are separate: a field officer can be an account officer on clients and loans without ever signing in.
You disable them, choose who takes over their clients and open loans, and their login is switched off at once. Their history stays in the record.
Yes. Every login has a role, and you can edit the ready-made roles or create your own, permission by permission.
Daily, weekly or monthly repayment packages with their own interest, processing and insurance fees, guarantor rules and branch availability – for example a 22-working-day daily package.
A loan moves from booked to approved, authorized and disbursed. The person who books a loan can’t approve it, and the person who approves it can’t authorize it, so every loan passes through different hands.
Slice warns the approver when a guarantor already backs other open loans, has an overdue loan of their own, or shares the borrower’s phone or BVN.
Yes. Disbursements and repayments post balanced double-entry journals automatically, and you get a trial balance, income statement, balance sheet and a ledger for every account.
Lists and reports export to CSV, Excel and PDF.
Yes. With the client’s agreement, an officer clicks Verify on the client’s page and Slice checks their name and date of birth against the government record. Only the result is kept, and you can require a verified ID before approval.
Email notifications are built in today. SMS, bank transfers and credit bureau reporting are on our roadmap.
In a data centre in Nigeria, so your data stays in the country.
No. Every organisation’s data is kept apart by the database itself, not just by the app, so one organisation can never read another’s records.
Yes. Backups of the database and uploaded documents are taken every night.
Every change – including failed attempts – is recorded in the audit trail with who, when and the outcome.
